We The People Idaho PAC supports candidates and causes that put Idaho families, workers, and communities first. From the Panhandle to the Magic Valley, we organize neighbors across all 44 counties to make their voices heard at the ballot box and at every level of government.

Our Mission

Idaho has never been a place that takes its marching orders from anyone. It was settled by people who prized self-reliance, plain dealing, and the freedom to think for themselves. In 1912, Idahoans wrote the citizen initiative and referendum into their state constitution so that the people, and not the political machines, would always have the final word. For more than three decades, Senator William Borah, the Lion of Idaho, represented this state by following his conscience wherever it led, even when that meant standing apart from his own party.

Our name comes from the first three words of the United States Constitution: “We the People.” Those words were a declaration that power in this country flows from its citizens, not from parties, factions, or those who hold office. Idaho’s own constitution opens the same way, with “We, the people of the state of Idaho.” We take that promise seriously.

We The People Idaho PAC exists to carry that independent tradition forward. We support leaders who put Idaho ahead of party, who answer to the voters who elect them rather than to insiders and outside interests, and who have the courage to chart their own course. Whether you call yourself a Republican, a Democrat, or neither, there is a place for you here.
